- 5/26 - There is a change to Exercise 4 of Homework 6 - full text search must be implemented using the full text search support
provided by PostgreSQL.
- 5/23 - There is a change to Exercise 3 of Homework 5 - Ajax is no longer required for editing file attachments.
- 5/12 - The office hours on Monday 5/17 will be moved to 3-5pm.
- 4/21 - There will be a 30-minute quiz on 4/28 after the lecture. The quiz will cover Spring IOC and AOP, and maybe some Hibernate mapping and HQL.
- 4/1 - The office hours on Monday 4/5 will be moved from 2-4pm to 3-5pm.
- 3/26 - The campus will be closed on Wednesday 3/31 to observe Cesar Chavez Day, so we won't have a class meeting in the first
week. Instead, please read the lecture notes on collaborative filtering and watch the lecture recording on this topic from the Fall 2009 quarter, then
complete Quiz 1 on CSNS. Note that Quiz 1 is only available from 9pm to
9:30pm on Wednesday 3/31. If you have any questions, please post them in the class forum.
