Description: |
This is an
introductory course
about relational databases and the SQL query language. We will focus on
using SQL to access data stored in relational databases, by expressing
various search conditions, processing data from one or more tables, and
formatting the results into user-friendly reports. In the latter part
of the course, we will also discuss how to design databases for common
application scenarios using the Entity-Relationship (ER) model. |
