Description: | The first part of
the course covers topics related to database development, including
Entity-Relationship model, normalization, transactions, SQL, procedure
languages, and some performance tuning techniques. The second part of
the course explores the internals of a database management system and
discusses the details of disk access, memory access, query processing,
